East beach

To the east of the pier entrance is East beach.

Close to the main town centre and the town's main facilities, pay and display parking is available right next to the beach, as well as a car parks close by.

There is shingle at the shore end, and vast areas of flat open sands at low tide. Toilets are close by, and plenty of refreshments and concession stands are available along the promenade, as well as those in the town centre.
