About Middleton-On-Sea beach

Along the coast to the East is Middleton-On-Sea beach.

This is best accessed on foot, as there are no parking facilities, apart from the local shops in Middleton village a short distance away. The shore end of the beach is made up of shingle with wooden breakwaters, and at low tide, large sands are revealed.

There are many plants growing in the ''Vegetated Shingle'', which make this beach unique. The plants also attract insects and sea birds along the shore.

The beach at Middleton-On-Sea is a pleasant place to rest as there is plenty of seating with views out to sea if you are walking along the coast.

The coastal path/promenade of Bognor Regis that starts in the west at Aldwick beach ends here at Middleton-On-Sea and in order to continue east along the coast to Climping you will need to go into Middleton-On-Sea village and follow the signs to Elmer.
