West beach

West Beach Bognor Regis is situated to the west of the Bognor Regis Pier entrance.

With shingle on the shore end, and large expanses of flat sands at low tide, West beach is great for the family and kids. This beach has more breakwaters (wooden groins) than the other beaches within the beaches of Bognor Regis. Beach groins or breakwaters, provide excellent free windbreaks for those hot breezy days on the beach.

A refreshments area with seating can be found on the promenade and close by.

The Royal Hotel overlooks this beach, and the Royal Norfolk Hotel is just across the road.
