How to get to Bognor Regis

Bognor Regis is situated on the South Coast of England Between Brighton and Portsmouth. With direct road and rail links from London and the rest of the UK, getting to Bognor Regis is pretty easy:-

  • about an hour by rail from London
  • Just over an hour by road from the M25 London orbital motorway
  • Just over an hour from London Gatwick International Airport
  • Regular coach connections from London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports
  • Within easy access of France accross the English Chanel from the Portsmouth Ferry terminal or Newhaven.

By Train

Bognor Regis is about about an hour from London Victoria to Bognor Regis train Station. Some services require that you change at Barnham, so do check for with National Rail for times and fares.
Bognor Regis Railway Station is very close to the town centre, and taxis can be hired from within Bognor Regis Train Station.

By Road

The A259 runs through Bognor Regis and the B2166 will take you to the seafront. The A29 also runs to Bognor Regis and joins the A259. The AA can provide you with a route.

By Sea/Ferry

Bognor Regis is within easy reach of a number of ferry ports including Portsmouth Harbour (approx 24 miles), and Newhaven (approx 42 miles).

By Air/Airports

Gatwick Airport is the nearest international airport, which is about an hours drive from Bognor Regis, and has a regular train service that runs from the airport to Bognor Regis.
